Birch Tree is a secluded & romantic 1 bedroom cabin with indoor hot tub and wood burning fireplace. Birch Tree Cabin is a secluded one bedroom cabin located just a few minutes from Historic downtown Ellijay. This one-level cabin (just two easy steps and parking right at your front door) is just what you need for that quiet weekend away. The master bedroom offers a queen bed with flat screen TV and DVD player and access to a very cozy screened in porch. The living room has a sleeper sofa facing a wood burning fireplace, another TV and DVD player and even a record player (WIFI too) and more access to the screened in porch. The flat screen can be enjoyed from the couch or the hot tub. The indoor hot tub room is quite unique with stone walls, floors and a sky light for natural lighting. There is a well-equipped kitchen for whipping up your favorite meals and a charcoal grill on the front porch. Central heating and air plus ceiling fans throughout to keep you comfortable. Conveniently located just west of downtown Ellijay, the last mile is gravel but no 4wd required, and only an hour from Atlanta and Chattanooga. Shopping and restaurants are just five minutes away. Everything from waterfalls to wineries with day trips to Blue Ridge, Dahlonega, Amicalola Falls State Park, Ocoee whitewater rafting, apple orchards and miles of hiking and biking trails all right in your back yard. We loved our stay at this peaceful cabin! Great place to come back to unwind after exploring the mountains of North Georgia.
Overall we liked the place itself, the rugs was dirty & hadn’t been vacuumed. The bathroom hadn’t been cleaned properly, the toilet however was very clean. The “brand new” mattress was hard as a rock and I couldn’t sleep on it, my back hurt so bad after a couple hours laying on it, I went to the sofa and slept. My wife & I was there for our 3 year anniversary & we specifically picked this place due to having a hot tub inside. The hot tub was extremely disgusting & had hair & black stuff all over the strainer. We got a towel & cleaned it off the best we could & turned the jets on & a bunch of little black stuff came out of the jets all over in the water. I contacted Dominic about it immediately, he replied back late that night & said they would have someone come out the next day to clean it. I never heard a word from him after this message, no one ever showed up to clean it & we couldn’t use it the whole 4 days we was there. I messaged him multiple times with no reply still to this day.
My stay at this cabin was absolutely amazing. From the moment I arrived, I felt a sense of peace and calm that’s hard to put into words. The atmosphere was so quiet and relaxing it was the perfect escape from everyday stress. The cabin itself was incredibly warm and welcoming. Everything about it felt cozy, from the comfortable furnishings to the overall setup. It truly felt like a home away from home. Whether I was sitting inside enjoying the peaceful surroundings or just taking in the fresh air outside, every moment felt special. Dominic was a wonderful host and made the experience even better. He was kind, helpful, and made sure everything was perfect for my stay, which I really appreciated. If you’re looking for a place to unwind, recharge, and just enjoy some genuine peace and quiet, this cabin is perfect. I would definitely come back again.

This cabin was amazing! It was tucked out of the way, but not too secluded. It was slightly hard to get to with the gravel roads, but it was so peaceful and worth it. The hot tub was amazing! The couch and bed were both super comfortable. The screened in porch was a lovely touch!
This was our first airbnb experience and honestly it was everything we were hoping for. There were small details that could use improvement but nothing we couldn’t deal with, except the bed. The mattress had a big dip in the middle and was so uncomfortable. We want to return in the near future but please please fix the mattress we loved the covered back porch and the swing. WiFi was good except for the tv in the living room the connection kept going in and out. Hope to be able to come back to this cozy cabin just fix the mattress please.
I had a great stay at this cabin; it was exactly as described. It was a wonderful place for a quiet respite, just the perfect distance away from Atlanta. The screened in porch and hot tub were especially nice.
It was such a great cozy cabin! The instructions dominic sends are helpful. I used Google Maps until I couldn’t then I referenced the directions that were given. It was the perfect place and so adorable except the bed was very uncomfortable. The bed was at a slant so your feet were higher than your chest and the bed created a giant dip. But besides that, I highly recommend! The views are great and the hot tub is so nice after a long day.
This place is absolutely incredible. I do not know how anyone could rate it less than 5 stars. We had such an incredible time. The house was so comfortable and cozy. The hot tub inside was such a treat. We loved it. The cabin smells great. There’s a swing on the screened in porch overlooking the woods and mountains. The location is beautiful and private. They provide clear instructions on how to get to the house. Safe area. Quick drive into downtown. I highly recommend.
The Cabin was great and exactly what we were looking for. Matched the description and was peaceful. The indoor jacuzzi was the icing on the cake. Host and staff were very friendly and responsive. Great place and will definitely visit again in the future.
The house itself was nice, clean, and cozy. However, the location felt extremely remote, and we did not feel safe. I booked the house for three days, but we only ended up staying for about four hours. I think the listing should better emphasize how isolated and unsettling the area can be. Although the home was comfortable, the moment we made the first turn and saw the cemetery, followed by the long dirt road leading to a house that sits at the very end of a narrow one-car lane, we realized we were not going to enjoy our stay.

Refundable Bookings
Cancellation deadlines:
- For stays under 15 nights, you may cancel or reschedule up to 14 days before check-in for a full refund. For stays 15 nights or longer, the cancellation window is 60 days.
- For some homes, a 30-day deadline applies — this will be clearly shown before you book.
- Cancellations must be submitted before 4 PM EST on the deadline day to qualify.
Fair-Refund Policy
If you cancel after the deadline:
- North Georgia Vacation Spots will relist your dates and automatically refund you for any nights that rebook.
- The refund per night will be the lower of the original price or the rebooking rate. Nights that do not rebook are non-refundable.
Half-Now, Half-Later Bookings
- The first half of your payment is non-refundable.
- The second half may be refunded according to the standard cancellation policy above.
Non-Refundable Bookings
If you selected a Non-Refundable rate at checkout, the booking cannot be changed or canceled, and no refund will be issued.
Date Changes & Rebooking
Once a stay is canceled, you can't rebook the same dates yourself. If you need help choosing new dates, our Concierge team is happy to assist.
Transfers to Another Guest
You may transfer your booking to someone else at no charge. Just contact the Concierge with the new guest's name and email. The new guest must accept the transfer for it to take effect.
